Petrolexportimport, once the largest player through which oil business was conducted, went bankrupt
Petrolexportimport petroleum product importer went directly into bankruptcy at his own request, based on the decision signed by the Bucharest Tribunal. During the communist regime, the company was the biggest player through which oil business was carried out. Until 1997, Petrolexportimport held the monopoly of crude oil import and export of petroleum products for the Romanian refining system.

Liviu Dragnea meets with UDMR on Monday to support offshore law
PSD President Liviu Dragnea will meet with UDMR leader Kelemen Hunor on Monday to discuss offshore law support, official sources told Hotnews.ro. The coalition has reached consensus on the offshore law and is about to start talks in the specialty committee. The meeting takes place in the context in which, two weeks ago, the UDMR and the ALDE refused to vote the law in plenary, and Kelemen Hunor avoided talking to Dragnea when he approached the end of the sitting of the Chamber of Deputies.

31 Romanian companies in the Atlas of Biomass and Bioenergy from Energy Barge
The ENERGY BARGE project consortium has launched the modal transfer platform, a tool combining the so-called biomass and bioenergy atlas and the ecological logistics platform for bioenergy across the Danube. The Romanian Association for Biomass and Biogas – ARBIO, announces that the platform will also include a section of good practices that „will allow understanding of the factors that shape the performance of bioenergy actors using or intending to use inland waterway transport.”
