Deloitte: Romania risks being investigated by the EC for granting illegal state aid through OUG 114

Astudy conducted by Deloitte at the Romanian Association of Petroleum Exploration and Production Companies (ROPEPCA) request, shows that domestic gas production will stagnate or even decline in the coming years, increasing Russian imports, and the state budget will lose over 2.2 billion lei, which means the value of the state aid granted in one year. The study also shows that other effects would be triggering investigations at European level on potential state aid to industrial consumers.
