Romgaz’s electricity production fell 38% last year

Romgaz recorded a net profit of 1.4 billion lei in 2018, down 22%, on a growing gas production

Romgaz produced much less electricity in 2017, and says it is Hidroelectrica, a producer that has „occupied the market” but also directs more gas to consumption and warehouses. Romgaz operates the Iernut gas plant, which in 2018 had a production of 1.16 TWh of electricity, down from 1.86 TWh in 2017.
