Dragnea: We will have a coalition meeting with the prime minister to establish the companies that will enter FSDI

Liviu Dragnea, the President of the Chamber of Deputies, said that together with the Calin Popescu Tariceanu, had agreed a coalition meeting with Prime Minister Viorica Dăncilă and the Finance Minister in order to decide which companies to enter into the Sovereign Development and Investment Fund and when the Government Decision is adopted.

Victor Ponta reaction regarding GEO114

Victor Ponta (Pro Romania) reacted after Prime Minister Viorica Dăncilă announced that GEO 114 could be modified, a possibility invoked by the Minister of Finance. Ponta referred to the fact that the ordinance had to be discussed before the adoption, and that it almost ended the destruction of Transylvania Bank, Oltenia Energy Company, Romania’s 5G development project, triple profit for Gazprom in the first month of this year, and postponing the exploitation of Black Sea gas.

The Energy Ministry has called for the postponement of 2% turnover tax

The Ministry of Energy, through state secretary of the ministry, Doru Visan, has requested a one-year extension of the deadline for applying the 2% contribution to the energy companies, provided in Emergency Ordinance 114/2018.

Considering usage of hydrogen in the future?

Romania signed the „Hydrogen Initiative,” a document that refers to the future use of hydrogen in the energy sector, and makes a declarative statement in the sector’s development plan by 2030, although there are no clear objectives in that regard. Consultants ask the Government to do at least an analysis in the next three years.
