All potential ExxonMobil-OMV Petrom gas customers in the Black Sea have denounced capacity booking contracts on the future pipeline

All potential gas customers to be extracted from the Black Sea Neptune Deep Offshore Perimeter, concessioned by ExxonMobil-OMV Petrom consortium, unilaterally terminated the transportation capacity booking contracts they had signed with Transgaz, which puts the question of the project of the Tuzla-Podişor pipeline operator to take over the gas from the respective perimeter and introduce them into the national transport system (SNT). „As a result, Transgaz notes that the process of incremental capacity at the expected point of entry into PMT Tuzla SNT has ended unsuccessfully,” the company said. Most likely, potential buyers of capacity unilaterally terminated Transgaz reservation contracts as a result of the uncertainty generated by the failure to finalize the final investment decision in the project due to the late adoption of the offshore law in a form unpleasant for the petroleum.
